Had the increased dose of aza last night..........fine until about 10pm, then nausea kicked in. Very little sleep. Had to go back to bed this morning as I was so tired. Got up again at lunchtime and felt fine again! Glorious sunshine in Cornwall today, such a pleasure after days of rain/fog/wet dogs/miserable donkeys!! Spent the afternoon with the donks re doing their electric fencing to create a new paddock for them to play in. They looked on in anticipation waiting to be let out, then went wild inspecting the new area. I have just been down to bring them in and found them climbing right up on the stone wall between us and a housing estate.....peering into peoples kitchen windows! They have acres to play in and they still have to be naughty....it took carrots and ginger biscuits to persuade them to come in for the night.
Am hoping the nausea is less tonight, last week, it only lasted a few days then settled down again. Oh, nearly forgot, went to the dentist today and my teeth are fine...............at least thats one bit of me thats not going wrong!
Hi Penny and Jo
ReplyDeleteI hope your both well? sorry I haven't been in contact I've just been like a zombie this week to tell you the truth only getting up when I need to eat and drink.
Well Monday was a complete waste of time! they told me to turn up at 2.30pm which I did my consultant wasn't there so the doctor I saw didn't really know why I was there and what to do so I have a scan next week! until then im to remain on same doses and be seen on Monday, lets hope the consultant is there this time grrr. I'm really fed up now just want to get back to normal. Penny.. Sorry your bloods are no better but good news that they are starting to lower the steroids. I know it takes a while for the aza to get in your system and start working.
With regards to the phosphate level this could be why your having such terrible cramps, lots of bananas for you...its obviously your body's way of telling you to eat banoffee pie ha ha.
Thanks for your concerns its nice to know that you are both always here to talk to.
I will keep you updated Emma xxx
Hi Emma , good to hear from you, but sorry you're still so unwell. When I went on Monday, they tried to give me some other doc, but I said (as I always do) "oh I thought I was seeing Aillen/Usama/Proff etc........has worked every time since I started doing it. The sen/reg never seems to mind, and at least I get continuity now.
DeleteI've been eating HUNDREDS of bananas for months for the potassium, it just hasn't been enough......more banoffee pie needed I think! x
i mean potassium x
