Feel very unwell. Exhausted, headache for days, liver area swollen and uncomfortable, miserable, appetite down (think liver pressing on stomach), cramp and vague nausea. Feel unable to function properly, really slowed down and everything a serious effort.Anxious re tomorrow. Don't know why, as Iv'e had it before, will be glad when its over and results are in. Early night I think.

  5. Hi Penny
How are you feeling? hope you got home ok! When do you get your results? I've had a real set back. Have not felt well at all so had emergency bloods yesterday then had a call 3 hours later to say that my bloods had more then doubled since the last draw:( anyway I have to go in Monday for some more tests so yet again I just missed you.
Have you started your 60mg yet?
    Been thinking of you lots.

  7. Oh Emma, that is a real worry for you. Have you had flare ups before and what medication are you on apart from the steroid? Take care and hope they get you sorted out soon. Penny, glad the biopsy is over and hope they are soon able to start treating you to get those levels down again. Are you feeling any better than you wee on Wednesday? So miserable for you and frightening too I know. I really hope you all start to feel bettter soon. Love Jo xx

  8. Hi Jo. I have had many flare ups but never been this ill with one.
I normally just get exhausted and go off my food a bit. This time I ache from head to toe, feel sick all the time and am sick often. Sleeping all day and night.
I'm on prednisolone, azathiraprine, aldronic acid and omoprozole.
Ive been quite well for 6 months so this is a shock.xx

  9. That is rotten for you. I stopped the Omeprazole after a while, once steroid reduced as I kept feeling sick and it did make a difference. I just take calcium tablets ( Adcal) 2 when I was on steroids and just 1 a day now. I think the Alendronic acid can have nasty side effects so I wonder if they might not be helping? It prob depends on whether you have Osteoporosis? I have Osteopenia which is why I have to continue taking calcium. It is such an odd illness in the way it behaves. It is a blow for you having been well for 6 months. I really hope that you start to feel better soon. Jo xx
